Mobile UI Redesign

Subby

Subby is a mobile app that allows users to share subscriptions and manage payments with others. Subby aims to combat subscription fatigue, expand access to more subscriptions, and reduce peer-to-peer payment pain points by safely and securely automating recurring payments users split between themselves and their friends. To achieve this, the Subby team asked us to examine their UI and perfect it for their users.

The challenge:

Analyze Subby’s current UI to define pain points in specific tasks and redesign the app to create a fun and easy platform for users share subscriptions.

The Problem

Insights from user research proved that users could find a subscription management app helpful but they usually stick to reputable apps when handling payments. Subby needs a redesigned application with a consistent, polished UI that users can trust to efficiently split payments for subscriptions.

How can we redesign Subby’s UI to bring the user experience to the level of other platforms while crafting a seamless platform that allows users to share monthly payments?
